Buyers Guide to Pre-Owned Lexus Models
We will give you the buyers guide to pre-owned Lexus models in two formats: the letter guide and the trim guide.
The letter guide helps you identify categories of Lexus models by their Latin alphabetic lettering. The letters in view are letters C, F, S, X.
C – for Lexus coupes.
F – for Lexus sports cars built for tracks and top-notch performance.
S – for Lexus sedans.
X – for Lexus SUVs and crossovers.
Letter C Lexus Models
Lexus LC: A coupe, available in LC 500 and LC 500h hybrid trims, that crams 471 horsepower in a 5liter V8 engine makes this list as one of the pre-owned Lexus models you can own if you are keen on high-performance.
Lexus RC: On the same coupe spectrum, this model retains the coupe’s traditional structure of 4 passengers and 2 doors in six trim offerings of RC 300, RC 300 F Sport, RC 300 AWD, RC 300 AWD F Sport, RC 350 and RC 350 F Sport.
Letter F Lexus Models
Lexus RC F: Just a bit higher than the LC in horsepower delivery, this sports model by Lexus packs 472 horsepower in the same engine type as the Lexus Coupe – and in less than 4 seconds, it can go from 0 to 60mph.
Lexus GS F: The category is “sports” but on a slightly lower horsepower delivery than its fellow car in the Letter F category, the RC F. The same engine size as the aforementioned model, it lags by 0.54 seconds in going from 0 to 60mph.
Letter S Lexus Models
Lexus ES: Luxurious in its sedan build, the nomenclature of each trim speaks for itself: ES 350 is standard, ES 350 F Sport delivers as a sports sedan, ES 350 Luxury notches up in its deluxe style and ES 350 Ultra Luxury takes what is available in the Luxury trim to the peak.
Lexus GS: The definition for this is really summed up in 3 words and a phrase. Here you go: “smooth”, “sporty”, “bliss” and “top-notch performance” and it is available in 2 premium trims known as the GS 350 and GS 350 F Sport.
Lexus IS: Unlike the aforementioned two models in the Letter S category, this model preaches a petite form with reasonable pricing to back it up. Customers love this model across all its trims of IS 300, IS 300 F Sport, IS 300 All-Wheel Drive, IS 300 F Sport All-Wheel Drive, IS 350 and IS 350 F Sport.
Lexus LS: Customers love this model too, maybe not as much as the IS, but they do. You can get it in its different trims (LS 500, LS 500 F Sport, LS Inspiration Series).
Letter X Lexus Models
Lexus GX: 7 passenger seating capacity, on-demand 4WD and a horsepower of 301 from a 4.6L V8 engine is what the GX is about in its three trims (GX 460, GX 460 Premium and GX 460 Luxury).
Lexus LX: Whichever trim you choose, this model comes with a 5.7L V8 engine and 383 horsepower. It is best for towing and it tows about 7,000lbs. The seating capacity in both available trims are different: a 5-seater for the LX 570 Two-Row and an 8-seater for the LX 570 Three-Row.
Lexus NX: This model is compact and luxurious while still delivering excellent ample space for passenger seating and spacious cargo area. You can get it in the NX 300, NX 300 F Sport, and NX 300 Luxury trims.
Lexus RX: 3 trims are available in this model as 5-seaters or 7-seaters; RX 350, RX 350 F Sport, and RX 350L.
Lexus UX: The UX seats just 5 passengers while pushing its subcompact SUV agenda forward in 3 trims (UX 200, UX 200 F Sport and UX 200 Luxury).
